A New Jersey native, Pat Hoferkamp began her real estate career in 1978 as a sales associate in Bergen County. In true entrepreneurial spirit, Hoferkamp embarked on her own in 1986 as the president, co-owner and co-founder of Properties of Distinction, Inc. During her tenure as president, Hoferkamp received the 1993 Realtor of the Year Award from the Pascack Valley Board of Realtors.

In 1998, Burgdorff ERA acquired Hoferkamp's firm, and she was then appointed vice president and manager of the Burgdorff Woodcliff Lake office. For three years, Hoferkamp was responsible for the daily operations and management of 59 sales associates and staff. A driving force in local real estate issues, Pat is keenly involved with several Realtor boards and is currently president of Real Source Association of Realtors in Bergen County, N.J.

In 2002, Hoferkamp was appointed senior vice president and general sales manager for Burgdorff ERA. In this capacity, she was directly responsible for overseeing and supporting all of the company's 16 sales offices throughout New Jersey. She also played a lead role in heightening public awareness of the firm's other primary services, such as mortgage, relocation and Select Lifestyle Services.

In 2003, Hoferkamp was appointed to her current position as president and chief operating officer and continues to lead the company of 700 sales associates, 75 employees, and 1,275 referring agents through the myriad of changes and challenges of the real estate industry. Pat is a spirited leader who finds "the Burgdorff way" partners well with her people-and service-oriented philosophy. Burgdorff ERA is an advocate for charitable causes, particularly the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Jersey. Pat maintains the fundraising efforts and upholds the integrity of Burgdorff ERA's assistance in children of New Jersey. A graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas College in New York, she is listed in “Who's Who in Executives and Professionals.”
