Rick Loughlin was appointed president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Central and Northern New England in November 2006. Loughlin previously held the position of president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Central New England, following the merger of operations between The DeWolfe Companies, Inc. and NRT-owned Coldwell Banker Hunneman in 2002. Loughlin is responsible for 109 offices and 4,700 sales associates serving Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Previously, Loughlin spent two years as president of DeWolfe Real Estate, a division of The DeWolfe Companies, Inc. He also served on the operating and executive committees for this publicly traded firm. As president of DeWolfe Real Estate, Loughlin had oversight for the day-to-day sales and operations of over 95 real estate offices in five New England states with the aid of a general sales manager and eight regional sales and operations vice presidents.

Loughlin began his real estate career in 1974 at Fred T. Boyd Associates, Inc. His career path took a turn when his two-office company was purchased by DeWolfe in 1989. From 1989 to 1997 he managed the Concord and Lexington offices. He served as regional vice president of the Metro West region in Massachusetts from 1995 to 1997. In 1997, he was appointed as general operations manager DeWolfe Real Estate and was subsequently promoted to executive vice president of real estate.

Loughlin was the president-elect of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors and took office in January 2003. He is also on the board of directors of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors. Loughlin has a BBA in accounting from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and an MBA from Suffolk University. He resides in Concord, Mass., with his wife and two daughters.
