Malcolm MacEwen assumed the role of president and chief operating officer for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Arizona in February 2007, with responsibility for 37 offices and more than 2,000 sales representatives. He most recently served as senior vice president and regional manager for the Desert Region in the Greater Los Angeles and Orange County Company from 2005-2007.
A veteran of more than 35 years in real estate sales and management, MacEwen owned his own real estate brokerage firm for several years. He later served as a vice president and regional manager in Southern California for both the Jon Douglas Company and Fred Sands Realtors before than firm was acquired by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in 2000.
He has a wide range of experience with the company including senior positions with NRT and serving as branch manager of one of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's leading offices in Beverly Hills, Calif., from 2000-2005. MacEwen served as the president of the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors in 2001, and was awarded Realtor of the Year in 2002.
A former director of the Arizona and California Association of Realtors, he was named to NRT's President's Council in 2003 and 2004, an honor given to managers of the most productive branch offices in the country.
