Longtime President Rick Loughlin to Serve as President Emeritus

PARSIPPANY, N.J. - November 29, 2011

NRT LLC, the nation's largest residential real estate brokerage company, announced today that Patricia Villani has been promoted to the role of president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England, effective January 1, 2012. In her new position, Villani will oversee the daily operations of the company's 90 real estate offices and more than 4,000 sales associates and employees throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine to oversee sales operations and business development. Villani most recently served as the company’s senior vice president and general sales manager.

"Pat brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the New England real estate market," said Bruce Zipf, president and CEO of NRT LLC. "She is a consummate real estate professional who has built an exceptional reputation as a progressive, dynamic and respected leader. Under her guidance, I am confident that Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England will continue to grow and prosper."

Over the course of her 30 years experience in real estate sales, Villani has served as a sales associate, office manager, broker owner, regional manager and corporate executive. She began her career as a co-owner of a residential real estate brokerage firm in Hingham, Mass., and went on to manage top-producing offices for the former The DeWolfe Cos. and Coldwell Banker Hunneman. In 2002, Villani joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage as the manager of the Hingham office, and was later promoted to regional vice president responsible for sales and business growth of the company’s Central South region.

Villani is replacing longtime president Rick Loughlin, who will remain with the company as president emeritus. As president since 2002, Loughlin successfully led the company through the merger of The DeWolfe Cos. and Coldwell Banker Hunneman companies to create the largest and most successful real estate brokerage in New England.

"Rick has had a tremendous influence on this organization," said Zipf. "He is a greatly respected professional, and we are extremely pleased that he will continue to serve the organization in his new role."

Prior to becoming president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Loughlin was president of the Real Estate Company under the former The DeWolfe Companies, Inc. overseeing the day-to-day sales and operations of more than 95 real estate offices in five states. Loughlin began his real estate career in 1974 at Fred T. Boyd Associates, Inc. His two-office company was purchased by DeWolfe in 1989. From 1989 to 1997 he managed the DeWolfe Concord and Lexington offices. He served as regional vice president of Metro West in Massachusetts from 1995 to 1997. In 1997, he was appointed the general operations manager for the Real Estate Company and later promoted to executive vice president.
