COLDWELL BANKER RESIDENTIAL BROKERAGE ACQUIRES PROMINENT REAL ESTATE FIRM IN GREATER NEW HAVEN
DANBURY, Conn. – March 29, 2006
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y., today announced that it has acquired the assets of Coldwell Banker Select Sites, Inc., in the greater New Haven, Conn. area. Coldwell Banker Select Sites’ five offices in Branford, Clinton, Hamden, New Haven and Wallingford will now operate under the banner of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
Vincent Engingro, owner of Coldwell Banker Select Sites, will continue as owner of its affiliated commercial company, Coldwell Banker Commercial Select Sites, which is not part of this transaction. Following this announcement, the commercial company will change its name to Coldwell Banker Commercial Metro and will relocate in the next 60 days to East Haven, Conn.

With this announcement, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage now operates 47 offices in Connecticut with more than 1,900 sales associates that accounted for $6.3 billion in closed sales volume in 2005. The 147 sales associates at Coldwell Banker Select Sites accounted for a total closed sales volume of $134 million during the past 12 months.
