COLDWELL BANKER RESIDENTIAL BROKERAGE EXPANDS IN WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS
Coldwell Banker Towne and Country Realty Joins
New England’s Residential Real Estate Brokerage Leader
WALTHAM, Mass. – March 29, 2006
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the largest residential real estate brokerage company in New England, today announced it has acquired the assets of Towne and Country Enterprises, Inc., which operates as Coldwell Banker Towne and Country Realty in Sturbridge, Mass. The single-office residential real estate company will now operate under the banner of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, serving Sturbridge and surrounding communities.
Beverly Gray, an owner and founder of the company, will continue to manage the office located at 509 Main Street. Dorothy Fontana, also an owner and founder of Coldwell Banker Towne and Country, will continue in a sales capacity with the newly combined organization. The firm has 23 sales associates and support staff, accounting for a total closed sales volume of $65 million in 2005.

With this acquisition, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England has 123 offices and a sales force of 5,800 sales associates and staff dedicated to serving their local communities throughout Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
