NRT Appoints Senior Vice President for Preferred Services
Rick Toma Expands Role Focused on Mortgage, Title and Warranty
PARSIPPANY, N.J. – May 24, 2006
NRT, the nation’s largest residential real estate brokerage company, today announced the promotion of Rick Toma to the role of senior vice president for preferred services. This expansion of Toma’s most recent role as vice president for preferred services focuses on transaction related services — including mortgage, title and warranty — as part of a full-service real estate experience.
“In his expanded role, Rick will continue to work closely with more than 50 brand name alliance partners and programs to exceed consumer expectations for added value in the real estate transaction, while delivering cutting edge tools to enhance productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction,” said Judy Reeves, executive vice president and chief operating officer for NRT. “Rick has continued to help our family of companies excel in these areas, and this appointment underscores our confidence in his ability to grow the business.”
NRT and its affiliated companies, marketing partners and joint ventures provide comprehensive homeownership services including mortgage, title, warranty, insurance brokerage, corporate relocation, residential and commercial real estate sales, and marketing of luxury properties.
Toma joined the NRT family of companies in 1998, coming to NRT from Cendant Corporation, where he was instrumental in the development of the national Preferred Alliance Program for the Cendant real estate brands and their affiliates. Before joining Cendant, Toma began his real estate career with the J.C. Nichols Company in Kansas City. A graduate of the College of William and Mary in Virginia, Toma is also a Bronze Star Veteran of the Persian Gulf War, serving in Desert Storm and Desert Shield as an Armor Officer in the U.S. Army.
