NRT Appoints Hal Maxwell to Lead Newly Created Mid-Atlantic Region
Move forms two local operating companies serving Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
PARSIPPANY, NJ – May 11, 2007
NRT Incorporated, the nation's largest residential real estate brokerage, today announced the promotion of Hal Maxwell to regional senior vice president of NRT's new Mid-Atlantic region. In this role, Maxwell will oversee a newly created region that comprises NRT-owned companies in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C. Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Maureen Passerini, formerly the regional senior vice president for NRT's Eastern Seaboard region, which included local operating companies in the Mid-Atlantic, will now oversee a new region to be known as the Northeast region, comprised of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage companies in New Jersey, Long Island, Pittsburgh, Connecticut/Westchester and New England.
Maxwell most recently served as president and chief operating officer of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in the Mid-Atlantic. With more than 22 years of real estate experience in roles that included branch manager, regional vice president, executive vice president and general sales manager of local companies, Maxwell early on distinguished himself as a strong leader.
"Hal's ability to unify a large company comprised of newly acquired companies, multiple brands and divergent cultures speaks to his innate leadership skills," said Judy Reeves, executive vice president and chief operating officer of NRT Incorporated. "NRT's ability to tap internal talent -the benchmark of success for any forward-thinking company - allows us to continue to drive expansion and growth in our markets."
The new Mid-Atlantic region will include two local operating companies formed by dividing the Mid-Atlantic operating company into two separate entities: Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Greater Baltimore and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Washington, D.C./Virginia.
Sarah Sinnickson, executive vice president for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in the Mid-Atlantic, has been promoted to president of the new Greater Baltimore local operating company. With nearly 30 years of real estate experience, Sinnickson has owned and managed real estate companies, served as a senior vice president and general sales manager, and developed a reputation as a specialist in luxury homes and estates.
Paul Valentino, regional vice president for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in the Mid-Atlantic, has been promoted to president of the new Washington/Virginia local operating company. A 30-year real estate veteran, Valentino has served as a branch manager as well as owned and operated his own multi-office company.
