Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, Inc. Acquires
Condo World, Inc., in Panama City Beach, Fla.
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla., – October 5, 2005
Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, Inc. in Florida today announced that it has acquired the assets of Condo World, Inc. in Panama City Beach. The single-office firm will now operate under the banner of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, Inc.
With this announcement, Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, Inc. has over 7,500 sales associates operating in 167 offices in Florida, accounting for a combined total closed sales volume of nearly $22 billion over the past year.
Condo World will now be overseen by Rick Murphy, regional senior vice president who reports to Budge Huskey, president and COO for Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Inc., Florida West.
“With the acquisition of Condo World, our presence in the dynamic Panama City Beach market is enhanced,” said Huskey. “Condo World is strategically situated near numerous beachfront communities with thousands of condominiums under construction or recently completed, and complete brokerage services will now be available to residents and visitors through this highly visible office location.”
Condo World specializes in resort and property management and has operated from the same location in Panama City Beach since 1973.
